Terms & Conditions

Effective: October 16, 2026   Last updated: October 16, 2026

A few ground rules before the next drive.

We know: nobody comes to Drive Venture for the Terms & Conditions. But when families are recording driving hours and trusting us with personal information, it's worth being clear about what the service does, what you're responsible for, and where the limits are. We'll keep the language human.

Drive Venture is operated by SCOCRAFT LLC. In these Terms, “Drive Venture,” “we,” “us,” and “our” mean the service and its operator.

1. We're still building this

Drive Venture is an experimental, limited-availability service to help families record supervised driving practice, see licensing progress, and enjoy optional game features. We're working to improve it, but the pilot may change, have errors, experience interruptions, or be discontinued. We'd rather be upfront about that than pretend every feature is perfect.

2. Who can participate

Drive Venture is intended for teen permit holders and their parents or legal guardians. It is not intended for children under 13. A parent or legal guardian must initiate or approve participation for every driver under 18 and is responsible for supervising that minor's use of Drive Venture.

Please provide accurate information and correct material mistakes when you find them. Don't impersonate someone else or use the service for unlawful purposes. The driving log works best when everyone uses their real information.

3. Driving comes first

Never interact with Drive Venture or a mobile phone while driving. Enter or review information only when safely parked. A supervising adult must provide all supervision required by law and should handle any necessary communication during a drive.

Drive Venture is not a driving instructor, real-time vehicle monitor, emergency service, or authority on whether someone is safe or legally permitted to drive. No achievement or progress display changes anyone's legal driving responsibilities.

4. We help with the forms; the state makes the rules

Drive Venture is not a government agency, driving school, insurance company, or legal adviser. We try to reproduce the information and format of state-required supervised-driving logs so families can keep useful records in one place. But our forms, reports, licensing guidance, and progress calculations are informational; they may be incomplete, delayed, or incorrect. A state licensing office or other agency may require a different form, additional proof, stricter documentation, or other steps when your teen applies for a license. Families remain responsible for checking current requirements directly with the appropriate agency and keeping or submitting whatever official logs and certifications it requires. We'd love to make the paperwork simpler. We can't overrule the DMV.

Drive Venture doesn’t want to make anyone’s DMV experience worse: if you find that our formatting is lacking, please consider dropping us a message at Feedback so that we can make it better for future drivers.

5. Protect your family's account

Your family's Drive Venture account and driving history may contain personal information. Protect your sign-in links and account access, and only share information with people authorized to see it. If you suspect someone has accessed your family's account or records without permission, contact us promptly.

6. Families, licenses, and capacity

Drive Venture gives each Family one place to manage its driving history. A Family's License Holder administers the Family license and purchased capacity. Other authorized grown-ups may help drivers, but that does not automatically make them the License Holder or give them the right to transfer the Family's paid license.

The Free Family experience currently allows one driver, up to two guardians, and five accepted Drive Venture drive records. Once those records are used, you can still see, edit, delete, print, and export existing records; you cannot log additional drives without an approved allowance or a paid Family License. Historical drives entered as individual records count toward the five-drive allowance, while eligible aggregate prior-practice credit does not.

Our initial paid web-beta offer is a $24.99 USD one-time Family License with capacity for three active drivers. Each additional active-driver seat costs $9.99 USD as a separate one-time purchase. Prices are shown before any legally applicable transaction taxes. There is no subscription and no automatic renewal. This offer is for U.S. web customers; we will show the applicable price, tax and total before asking you to pay. Eligible Alpha families may have an approved complimentary grandfathered license instead of a charge.

The license belongs to the Family, not an individual driver, phone number, email address, or device. We don't promise that every feature will remain unchanged, that the beta will run forever, or that a purchased entitlement overrides rules for safe and lawful use. A one-time license does not require periodic renewal simply because the beta stage ends.

7. Refunds and billing questions

If a Family License or an additional-driver seat is purchased, the purchaser can request a refund within seven days of that specific purchase, provided that the Family has logged no more than 20 total hours of driving through Drive Venture at the time of a $24.99 Family License refund request. For a $9.99 additional-driver seat, the 20-hour limit applies instead to the specific driver receiving that additional seat—other drivers' hours do not count against that seat's refund eligibility. In both cases, logged time includes drives later deleted; removing drives does not reset the relevant 20-hour total.

We will also correct erroneous or duplicate charges and honor any refund rights required by applicable law, even if they do not meet our voluntary policy. Drive Venture purchases are one-time charges, so there is no recurring service to cancel. Ending participation or deleting Family records is not itself a refund.

For billing questions or a refund request, use Feedback and choose Billing. To review your request safely, we may need to verify that you are authorized to act for the Family. Before checkout goes live we will confirm the exact process and provide an appropriate purchase record or reference.

8. Text Parker messages

Text Parker is an optional transactional SMS service for participating pilot families at (320) 372-7537, also known as (320) 3-PARKER.

Each person receiving messages must consent for their own mobile number. A parent or guardian must also authorize a minor driver's participation. Texting is optional, and those choices belong to each participant.

9. Use the service responsibly

You may not interfere with Drive Venture, seek unauthorized access, submit malicious, deceptive, or unlawful content, use automation to overwhelm the service, or use it to harass or harm anyone. These limits help keep the service useful and safe for everyone.

10. Feedback and pilot changes

Feedback is voluntary, and we appreciate it. By providing feedback, you allow us to use it to evaluate and improve Drive Venture without compensation or attribution. We will not publicly identify you without permission.

Because this is a pilot, we may modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue features. When practical, we will notify participating families of material changes.

11. What belongs to whom

The Drive Venture name, visual identity, Parker character, website content, software, and original materials belong to us. Participating doesn't transfer ownership to you.

Families retain ownership of the information and photographs they submit and give us permission to process those materials only as needed to operate and improve the pilot. Your information stays yours; we need permission to process it so the service can work.

12. Service disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, Drive Venture is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted availability, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or eligibility for any license or insurance benefit. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or right that cannot legally be excluded.

Put simply, we work to make Drive Venture reliable, but we can't promise the service or its calculations will always be available or accurate.

13. Limits on our liability

To the extent permitted by law, Drive Venture and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the pilot, loss of records, service interruptions, reliance on progress calculations, or unsafe or unlawful driving conduct. This provision does not limit liability that cannot legally be limited.

14. Leaving the pilot

You may stop participating by contacting us. We may suspend participation for misuse, safety concerns, legal requirements, or pilot administration. Information will be handled according to our Privacy Policy at privacy.mydriveventure.com.

15. Which laws apply

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

16. Updates and questions

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version with a new “Last updated” date. When practical, participating families will receive additional notice of material changes. Questions? Send us Feedback at feedback.mydriveventure.com
